When you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see your radiance? Are your eyes bright and excited about possibility? Or, do you see tired, worn and unsure? Maybe it’s somewhere in between?

I’ve worked with hundreds, I dare say almost even a thousand women and the moment our eyes engage I know their story, before we even speak. Nine out of ten women I meet have a story that is somewhere between radiance and uncertainty. My eye has been trained to see what I feel would make your eyes appear more favorable, a fraction of which is cosmetic, most of which is not.

On the cosmetic end of your windows, lets start with the most basic. Care for your eyes as though they are rare and precious jewels that are like no other. Sounds silly, but in reality you do only have those two. Before washing your face, remove all traces of eye makeup with eye makeup remover. I’ve recently found these great clothes that are made of micro fiber that you can wet and gently remove eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara without using any remover. It also removes waterproof products.

When washing your face be mindful of the cream or soap chemicals that may enter your eyes. Once you’ve cleansed, toned and moisturized your face, continue with eye cream. Starting at puberty your eyes need eye cream. Younger skin can get away with a light or gel based eye cream for day and night. Once you have reached your twenties head for a slightly thicker consistency. You can probably still get away with one eye cream for day and night. However, once you have reached your late 20’s early 30’s start looking into getting eye cream for day and a different one for night.

I’m sure you probably thought the cosmetic counter person was looking to just sell you some more stuff, but as we age that skin around the eye needs more moisture at night that a day eye cream just can not fulfill. Don’t try and get away with using that same night cream for day. It’s just too heavy. Applying eye cream of all other steps is most important when preserving our soul lookers (eyes). I can’t tell you how many women complain about dark circles, wrinkles or dryness around their eyes and when asked if they use eye creams, most say, “NO.” The skin around your eyes is seven times thinner than the other skin on your face, IT NEEDS SOME SPECIAL ATTENTION.

When putting on eye cream or any other eye product - DO NOT RUB, NEVER, EVER, EVER rub your eyes. I’ll say it again, “the skin around your eyes is seven times thinner than the rest of your face?” This means the gentlest touch is all that is required around your eyes. Thin skin has a tendency to pull, stretch and wrinkle. Protect those diamond eyes with some sunglasses and plenty of water. The number one cause of wrinkles is dehydration. What dehydrates your skin more than the sun and lack of water?

Your eyes can see all the wonderful beauty that this world has to offer. Our sight is but a tiny component of what makes up our world. It’s our vision that paints the true picture. What we make up about what we see determines whether our eyes dance with joy and beauty or gaze with worry, fear and doubt. What stories have you been telling yourself about the events in your life? If you told yourself a different story about your past, what would your future hold? What would this present moment be like if you viewed all of your experiences as learning and stepping stones? What you give attention to will flourish. Focus your eyes on the prize not the puzzle.

How would you like to learn to attract everything you desire by packaging your look? Not really a NEW you, but just a perfect presentation of the TRUE you. We are not talking about just your physical appearance, though you may have guessed this does play a major role in attracting what you want. Discover the most common beauty mistakes that may cost you what you desire. Exactly how to position your image – your beauty, your presence, your walk, your talk. How beauty is really energy and what you exude determines what you get!

Do you use cell phones and computers for extended periods of time? Here are a few things you should know about electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation and how it can affect the health of your eyes:

* In 2001, German scientists found a link between cell phone radiation and eye cancer. The study investigated a form of eye cancer called uveal melanoma, in which tumours form in the layer that makes up the iris and base of the retina. The research suggests there is a threefold increase in eye cancers among people who regularly use the devices.

* According to public health scientist Dr. George Carlo, in 2006 there will be 40,000+ new cases of brain tumors and eye melanoma diagnosed worldwide directly attributed to cell phone usage. In 2010, that number will be an unprecedented 500,000 cases PER YEAR.

* A group of Israeli researchers found a link between microwave radiation and the development of cataracts. The study shows that prolonged exposure to microwave radiation similar to that used by cellular phones can lead to both macroscopic and microscopic damage to the lens and that at least part of this damage seems to accumulate over time and does not seem to heal.

* Ophthalmologic symptoms of electrosensitivity and electromagnetic hypersensitivity include pain or burning in the eyes, pressure in/behind the eyes, deteriorating vision, floaters, cataracts. It is hypothesized that the watery contents of the eye assists the absorption of radiation.

THINGS YOU CAN DO

* Minimize use of computers, cell phones, and other electrical devices. (Not a practical or convenient solution, but avoidance is always the primary intervention.)

* Eyeglass frames should ideally be made from plastic with no wires in them, otherwise they can serve as an antenna to focus the radio and cellular phone waves directly into your brain and eyes. (Dr. Mercola)

* Take anti-oxidants, particularly SOD, catalase, glutathione, and Coq10. Microwave radiation has been shown to decrease levels of these anti-oxidants in the body. Other supplements you may need are:

- Melatonin: a powerful anti-oxidant noted to prevent DNA breaks in brain cells. Also effective in preventing kidney damage from cell phones;

- Zinc: protects the eye from oxidative damage and helps preserve the levels of anti-oxidants in the blood;

- Gingko Biloba: an herb considered a powerful anti-oxidant which prevents oxidative damage in the brain, eye and kidney. Also helps support the production of SOD, catalase and glutathione;

- Bilberry extract: preserves vision and reduces oxidative damage to the eyes. (Dr. Gerald Goldberg)

* Use scientifically validated EMF protection devices. Most recommended are wearable types that effectively reduce the effects of EMF radiation on your biofield. The biofield is your first line of defense against stress. EMF radiation is known to disrupt the biofield, place stress on your body and weaken your immune system. The right protective device strengthens your biofield against this disruption and maintains its delicate homeostatic balance.

Have you ever annoyed with eye strain while computing? It’s a very common problem for digital people. About 91% of those experience computer eyestrain, known as Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS).

And if you feel eye discomforts or drowsiness, you would want to get rid of them as soon as possible.

I am going to show easy and short methods for relieving eyes strain. You can do it during your computer breaks. Beat eye strain, shake off drowsiness in just 3 minutes!

1) Warm Eye Pack

Due to the prolonged use of our eyes, the blood circulation around the area slow and weak. Lack of circulation disallows oxygen and nutrients in the blood stream to access the eye muscles. One of easiest techniques of enhancing good circulation is warming up.

Get a wet hand towel or an eye pack. Soak in warm water or heat it in the microwave. Place it over eyes for 1 minute. It provides excellent eye strain relief.

2) Eye Exercise

When you overexert your eyes, eye muscles get strained. Eye exercises can relieve their strain and enhance blood circulation around eyes. Palming and acupressure massage are easy and popular exercises.

Palming:

  • Rub your hand for 15 sec.
  • With your warm hands, cover your close eyes for 15 sec. Put no pressure on your eyeballs. Repeat several times.

Acupressure Massage:

  • With your forefingers, place the pressure along your elbows.
  • With your forefingers, place the pressure under your eyes.
  • Push up the inner canthus with your thumbs.

If you use holistic techniques the right way, you’ll enjoy computing more without discomforts. You can learn a series of eye exercises by the ebook, "Funky Eye Exercise."

3) Moisten your eyes

When you stare at a computer, you might concentrate and tend to blink much less often than usual. You may sometimes feel dryness of the eyes. It also can be a cause of eyestrain.

To moisten the eyes, blink often. Think about using eye drops. Try warm eye pack with a wet hand towel.

Follow these methods and you’ll notice that you can easily relieve computer eye strain and get back to work soon.

Eye is the "mirror of soul”, so it has to reflect the inner beauty. For a modern woman, who wishes her eyes to create the statement here is the eye makeup tips that can clearly illustrates her adoring beauty.

From Queen Nefertiti of Egypt, who lined her eyes with a black coal to the contemporary female executives, women have been using makeup to emphasise their eyes’ beauty. Making the eyes come alive is a real art and like any good artist one has to learn the basic tips of accurate brush work and colour blending. The basic rule in any eye makeup is to create the right base. In doing so, those dark circles around the eyes can be hid to create a smooth surface for other makeup cosmetics.

The most important part of eye makeup is in shaping the eyes correctly. This is done with eye shadow, using the theory of light versus dark. Eye shadow balances the appearance of the eyes. The eye shadow one selects should be appropriate for the skin tone and occasion.

The first advice for eye makeup is to start with a good eye cream. This will smooth and keep the skin around your eyes moist. Regularly apply them for three days and examine the difference. Remember to use your ring finger when applying the eye cream since it exerts the least amount of pressure.

Many women have problems with puffy eyes when they wake up every morning. Applying eye cream or eye gel helps in reducing such swelling of the eyes and one feels very refreshing.

In case you do not like to use heavy makeup for the eyes, your makeup box should include eyebrow pencils, eye liner, eye shadow, mascara and concealer. These cosmetic will care your eyes to perfection.

Eye makeup can improve the facial appearance enhancing the natural beauty. It will make one look beautiful, helping to conceal the enigma of aging. If makeup is applied properly to the eyes, it will have a great impact on the appearance. It also reflects strongly to one’s personality, how they feel about themselves, boosting self esteem and making them more attractive. When applying concealer to the eye, pat it on with the ring finger and do not rub. A flat nylon brush or sponge will be used to apply the concealer. Concealing creams are available in light, medium and dark shades.

If one has a small eye, never apply liner to the inner rims. Put it above or below the lash line. Flesh coloured eyes shadows, brushed on to your brown bone will open your eyes. If the eyes are very round, apply a natural kohl pencil around the whole eye. For very narrow or almond-shaped eyes, open with the brown shaped trick or pencil the outer corner.

Women should never darken the eyebrows since it will dominate the eyes and rest of the face. Too much eyebrow pencil can ruin the impact of the rest of the makeup. The eyebrow pencil should be used sparingly and fill in those areas only that requires it. For women having very thick eyebrows, eyebrow pencil must be neglected. Rather, tweezing and arching of the brows may be required in such cases. When tweezing, make sure to hold the skin tightly. Tweeze at the root of the hair and in the direction that the hair grows. Remove only those hairs under the arch of the eyebrow.

Eye Pencils
Eye pencils should glide on smoothly, without dragging the skin. If they are soft and crumbly, keep them in a freezer before applying, If they are too hard and pull at the skin, soften the point first by gently running it over the back of the hand.

Eyeliner
Eyeliner is used to define the shape of an eye. It is also used to make the base of the eye lashes appear thicker. The eyeliner colours should be consistent with the hair colour. For a blonde or brunette, brown eyeliner is a best option.

Eye Mascara
Mascara gives the appearance of larger eye lashes. When applying makeup, it is applied in the end. For those eyes having brown or black hair, black mascara would be most appropriate. For lighter or blonde, brownish black mascara is preferred.

Applying Concealer
Concealers will be applied to remove dark circles, scars, tattoos, blemishes and pimples so as to enhance the appearance of the face. Concealer goes under foundation and is used for spot treatments. They are more opaque than regular makeup, but still need to be matched to the skin tone and are applied before using the harmony foundation. They are also formulated that the subsequent application of makeup does not remove them.

Applying Mascara
Before applying mascara, curling of eye lashes with a lash curler is necessary to open up the eyes. This will frame the eyes, especially if the lashes are short. Mascara is applied in two coats by placing the finger about mid-lid or on the eyebrow. Once the first application has dried, apply a second. For thicker lashes, carefully apply mascara to the upper side of the lashes as well.

Applying Eyebrow Pencil
Draw thin lines in the direction of eyebrows to define and fill in light areas. Never draw an outline around the eyebrow as this gives an unnatural look.

Applying Eyeliner
The desired effect of an eyeliner pencil is to create the illusion of darkness just above the lash line to enhance the look of the lashes. Gently pull the lid skin to start at the inner part of the lid and draw a thin line smoothly and evenly along the upper lid. A very thin pencil line should be extended very closely to the lash line along the innermost part of the upper lid near the nose. This is often forgotten yet always adds an attractive natural definition to the eye. For achieving a natural look, place a few tiny dots of colour close to the lash roots along the lowers lashes.

Applying Liquid Eyeliner
Liquid eyeliner achieves a more dramatic emphasis to the eyes. It is best used when a dramatic and more glamour look is desired. The tip is to carefully apply so as to obtain the look one wants.

Applying Eye Shadow
The purpose for applying eye shadow to the lids is to maximise the eye shape using up to three different eye shades: light, medium and dark. Medium tones are generally more neutral base shades. Light is for highlighting the shade and the dark is for contouring. For smoother eye shadow application that last longer, try applying a thin layer of yellow corrector powder to the eyelids before applying shadow.

To reduce eye strain and improve vision is a must for every adoring eye. Here are few exercises for keeping the eye comfortable and rejuvenating stamina.

Massaging the temples will help to relax and lessen eyestrain. By using the tips of the index or second finger gently rotate the depression on either side of the forehead on a level with eyebrows. Do this for a minute or two changing from a clockwise to an anti clockwise motion from time to time. One can do this easy exercise particularly to feel less tense.

Using the first two fingers and thumb of either hand just gently pinch or rub the bony bridge of the nose. This helps great for removing tension and headaches.

Just below the cheekbone and under the outside corner of each eye is an important massage area. Any fingertip will do to stimulate this location. Simply rotate both sides at the same time using gentle pressure. One can feel an effect on the eyes when trying to smile at the same time.

Women’s eyes are the most exciting and expressive feature, so emphasising them with the above makeup advice is extremely important. Are you ready to give the eyes a mysterious and exotic allure!

Can eyesight really be improved? Well, MRI or magnetic resonance imaging coupled with the latest computer programs that map the human brain have been put to use to do research on the brain and how our eyes see. Though our eyes do ‘see’ what is around us, the images are sent to the brain and processed there. So sometimes, a glimpse of someone or something familiar, and though the eye does not see all of it, the brain recognizes the person or thing. So it is the brain that is the final decider on what you see.

Recognition of people and things begins soon after birth and is a process of associations. So what we experience and know influences how we see. Sight turns into perception only when we know something about what we are looking at. However, when the sight fails, especially if it is due to a condition like glaucoma, thanks to a decreasing ability to focus on the objects or people around, there is decreased interest as well. But the good news is that if you sharpen your powers of perception, it will help you ‘see’ better.

Let’s see what kind of exercises will help towards sharpening your perception. Before you begin any of them, however, do a bit of deep breathing. Through your nose, breathe in deeply right to your diaphragm or stomach. Then breathe out slowly through your mouth. Keep it slow and steady. Now begin.

Pick a building in your range of vision and observe it closely. Look carefully at the windows, the brickwork, the doors, the roof. In case you can see the number on the gate, look carefully at that as well. Make sure your eyes keep moving. Now do that to a friend. Look carefully at his face – every detail of his eyes, nose, ears, mouth. Look like you are memorizing his face so you can draw it from memory later. You can look at a tree and follow the same routine.

Remember to blink often as it’s a great way to lubricate the eyes. Open and close your eyes slowly. With eyes closed, move your head back and forth, opening your eyes slowly for just a moment then shutting them again. Try blinking one eye at a time.

Take a sheet of blank paper and with a black marker, draw a large E. Prop up the paper and first look long and hard at the lower bar, then move your gaze to the upper bar, then the vertical bar and finally the bar at the center. Now shut your eyes and picture the E in your mind. Now move back so the paper is 5 feet away from you. Gaze at it again, then blink. Do this slowly. Now keep moving back and looking at it till you cannot see the E anymore.

You need to stimulate the cells that are mainly responsible for the peripheral vision. To do this, you have to extend your arms and wiggle your fingers. Look at them so you can see the movement. If you can’t, bring them closer till you can see your fingers.

Now close your eyes and see a large circle in your mind’s eye. Imagine that the end of your nose has a pencil attached to it. Now, draw a line around the circle, try and make the circle into an oval by squeezing it and then draw around the oval. Then, try making it into a figure-8 and draw around it. Now, try and write your name if you can. Then, put a piece of paper on your nose and tape it on the bridge. Put both your index fingers in front of your eyes and turn them, one clockwise and the other anticlockwise. Follow the movements with your eyes.

Get yourself an eye chart – the ones they use to test eyes- and hang it up on a wall. Whatever you might be doing – reading or just sitting, look at the chart once in a while. Or, look out of the window at distant objects occasionally. When you are reading, stop at intervals and try and remember what the last word you read was. Think of the word, the way it looked – all black and then think of the white space around it and visualize that as well. Now look at the word once more. Just keep in mind that you should just look at it, not stare. Move your eyes around the word. This way, your eyes don’t get fixated on the page and do not get as tired.

What could also help is if you do a few exercises in order to relieve tension. Here are a few you can do. To relieve facial tension, yawn and massage your jaw. It doesn’t matter if you make a sound while yawning. Then, put your hands behind your ears and feel the muscle that goes from there to your neck and on to your shoulders. This is called the sternocleidomastoid muscle. Massage this twenty times. Now, rotate your shoulders, maybe ten times each one. Then move your head in a circular motion, clockwise, then anticlockwise ten times. This helps in minimizing the tension and in helping the circulation get better. Once the blood flow gets better, the optic nerve performs better too.

Conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye, is a very common eye problem. The main symptoms of pink eye are listed below. Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva membrane, and can usually be treated easily.

Here are the pink eye symptoms you can plainly see:

  • The first sign of pink eye is usually a sudden redness or pinkish color showing up in the white of the eye
  • Puffiness of the surrounding eyelids or a "swollen eyelid" appearance
  • Excess discharge coming from the eyes, or crust around the edges of the eye
  • Watering or tearing of the eye

The pink eye symptoms that you feel include:

  • Feeling that there’s a foreign body in your eye
  • Itchiness or irritation of the eye and eyelids
  • A slight stinging pain
  • Sensitivity to light

Pink eye usually lasts about a week, and infects more people during the cold and flu season. Many people come in contact with the pink eye virus and don’t notice the symptoms until 24 – 72 hours later! Even though it takes a while for the signs of conjunctivitis to show, it’s wise to treat the cause and symptoms at the very first sign.

I feel the best way to treat pink eye is with the methods found here. You should also use a warm washcloth to alleviate discomfort and cleanse the eye of discharge. The most important tip though, is to wash your hands thoroughly and take every possible precaution to avoid spreading the infection.

Pink eye is usually pretty harmless, but it’s always better to avoid getting it in the first place! Remember to keep your hands to yourself during conjunctivitis "peak times" so that you won’t have to deal with the unpleasant pink eye symptoms. If you do happen to catch it, click here for a quick and easy pink eye cure.

Eye care. It’s so easy to take your eyes for granted until you start to have problems. They may start innocently as simply a slight blurriness when reading or watching TV. Maybe you can’t quite make out the lettering on the screen all that well. But it’s not that bad. The problem is, it gets worse and worse until there’s a serious problem.

Problems with your eyes don’t ever have to get to that point. Regular eye exams every 2 years, which is what professionals recommend, can prevent a world of problems. In this article we’ll cover basic eye care procedures and treatments.

The start of any eye care begins with a simple vision test. People have been poking fun at eye charts for many years but this simple test can help reveal some serious and not so serious problems. When conducting an eye test, the optometrist will place an object over the patient’s one eye while testing the vision of the other. The patient will read the letters off the chart. On each line of the chart the letters are a little smaller than on the line above. The reason each eye is tested separately is because your eyes actually work independently of each other and one eye can be weaker than the other, especially if under the stress of much reading, or these days computer work.

Normal vision is considered 20-20. To have 20-20 vision a patient needs to be able to read so many lines down on the eye chart. Depending on how far down a patient can actually read determines what their actual vision is. A mild case of myopia (nearsightedness) would be a vision of maybe 20-40. A severe case would be a vision of maybe 20-200. In most states you must have at least 20-30 vision to be able to drive without glasses. Anything above 20-30 and glasses would be required in order to drive a vehicle.

Once it is determined that the patient is nearsighted or possibly farsighted (where they can see things far away but not close up) then corrective lenses are prescribed. The way these lenses are prescribed is not an exact science unfortunately. The doctor will place various lenses over the patients eyes and ask the patient which looks better, this one or that one. In many cases the difference between two lenses is so small that the patient can’t really tell. For the most part though this method works well enough. After the prescription is determined the glasses themselves are made. Depending on where the actual eye exam takes place determines when the glasses can be completed and how long it will take until the patient receives them.

If the exam takes place in a doctor’s office with no facilities for making glasses nearby then the patient has to take the prescription to a place of his choice. This alone can take a day or so depending on whether or not the patient knows of any places off hand. If ,however, the exam takes place in a combined eye exam and glasses making establishment then the patient can literally walk a few feet to get the prescription filled and in most cases can get the glasses made that same day.

Sitting in front of the computer, reading books, watching television or simply just walking on the street all make your eyes overworked and look tired. Although you lead a very busy life, you should spare 15-20 minutes every day to take care of your eyes and help them relax. There are several ways to do this which just take so little of your time but give you wonderful results.

Cucumbers, potatoes and salt are usually available and ready to use in your kitchen, so why don’t you use those to enhance your eyes’ beauty? You can crush cucumbers and potatoes together, then dip a piece of cotton into that mixture and put the cotton piece on your eyelids for about 15 minutes. After that gently wash your eyelids with water and your eyes will become fresh again.

Another tip to maintain pure-looking eyes is using salt. Put a little salt into a water tub and wash your eyes everyday with that liquid. This method will help your eyes look bright and pure.

If your eyes get swollen, a fast way to help reduce the redness is to put a clean spoon into the fridge and then gently press that spoon onto the redness for some minutes. This is a simple but very effective and fast way. However, if you have more time, you can put some crushed potato into the fridge and then put that potato onto the redness.

Dark rings around your eyes can be another problem. If you have some coconut oil, use it to rub around your eyes for about 5 minutes a day. It will help reduce the dark rings gradually. In addition, there is another simpler way to deal with those dark rings. You can dip a piece of cotton into some cold milk and lay that cotton piece over the dark rings. Dark rings cannot disappear overnight, it takes some time to get rid of this problem so please, be patient and you will get your expected results!

As the skin surrounding the eyes is sensitive compared to the other parts of the body, more attention is required. The darker your scars appear, older you look and your pretty face turns unkempt due to these circles. Besides the dark circles you may come across other problems like conjunctivitis, swellings and there are many severe problems like lymphoma, cataract, inflammation of iris, etc. There are a few suggestions mentioned for simple eye problems below. Your eyes are the index of your face value. The prettier your eyes look the more speedy attention you may attract from the public.

Regular skin care is required to maintain the area surrounding your eyes. Use a gel or a cream and rub it gently around the orbital bone. The orbital bone is the area that falls directly under the eye structure. Be careful not to rub harshly when you rub around the eye area. The harsh rubbing can only lead to more irritation.

Apply the cream to the skin and relax for sometime. If you have to put on a facemask, then soak the little cotton pads into the soap water and place it on the eyes when they are closed. Otherwise, you may use them around 2 cucumber slices to make your eyes cooler. In this way you can provide a pleasant feeling to your eyes. And you can get rid of your dark circles around your eyes quickly. Your skin will glow when these circles vanish.

Whenever you experience problems like sore eyes due to harmful infrared rays, wind or after using water with chlorine, then rinse your eyes thoroughly with enough distilled water. Mix rose water with about 1-2 tablespoons in distilled water. Give a suitable bath to the eyes.

Sometimes you may develop mild swelling on your eyes. This mainly occurs due to the excess fluid that is accumulated or the toxins that are present within the eye. In this case, gently rub around your eyes so that the lymphatic nerves are activated. By doing this you will be able to relax faster. If you still want to provide a soothing and a cooling effect to your eyes, then apply cream or gel. Keep them in the fridge for nearly one day and rub them around your skin delicately.

If you think the pain is getting severe then consult a physician.

Searching for the perfect look for any season? Sun glasses make the perfect accessory to most ensembles. Any outfit gets an extra touch of style when you pay attention to decorating the parts of your body from the neck up. Why deny yourself the opportunity to look extra hot in the cold season, and extra cool during the heat wave?

It must be the mysterious look. Sun glasses provide the "it" factor that many of us seek from our accessories, and this is why the trendier of us invest in genuine upscale brands like Ray-Ban and Oakley - you pay for the long-term "it" thing that goes well with anything you wear. In fact, sunglasses even look cool at night! But to keep from suffering the embarrassment of bumping into telephone poles and the like, there are also glasses that offer flexible visual opacity; in short, not all sunglasses obscure sight even in places that have no sun.

For practical purposes, you should choose sunglasses that block out at least 90% of the sun’s UV rays. This would ensure that your pretty eyes are kept safe, which is the primary purpose of sunglasses.

Next, you should choose a make and design that fits your activities and your lifestyle. If you’re an active, sporty person you’ll want the extra wind and dust protection afforded by wraparound shades, many of which are nowadays designed to look cool with sports wear! You’ll also need sunglasses that are anti-corrosive, meaning the acidity of your skin won’t harm the material the frames are made of. This is important because when you engage in sporty activities, you sweat a lot, and sweat comes with acid that may damage the frame of your sunglasses. Some people’s skin is more acidic than others’, but good sports sunglasses will take different skin and sweat types into consideration.

Should you need sunglasses mainly to look chic, you don’t need to worry so much about wind and dust protection. Fashion sunglasses that focus more on the look than on the make have been manufactured since Hollywood stars of the 50s made them famous in their films. Choosing the right shape and color of the frame would help you pick out sunglasses that are just as trendy as fashion jewelry. Buy more than one pair so you can mix and match your sun glasses with your wardrobe!

Sun glasses have always lent a little extra "cool" to any ensemble. If you’re looking to stand out in a crowd, invest in shades!

Sunglassology.com provides you with information on all kinds of Sun glasses. Where to buy them and what to look out for.
